Because no one should have to face hardship alone.
At Faith in Action Foundation, we believe that compassion should be more than a feeling. It should be demonstrated through meaningful action.
Every day, individuals and families in our communities struggle to meet basic needs. Some face homelessness, food insecurity, unemployment, disability, illness, unexpected emergencies, or financial circumstances beyond their control.
Behind every hardship is a person with a story, a family with concerns, and a life deserving of dignity and compassion.
Our Essential Needs Outreach Initiative exists to connect those facing difficult circumstances with practical assistance, community resources, and the reassurance that they have not been forgotten.
We are guided by a simple principle:
Love your neighbor as yourself. — Mark 12:31
Our mission is to serve without judgment, extend compassion without conditions, and help restore hope wherever there is a need.
No individual or family should have to choose between purchasing food and paying for other essential necessities.
Our outreach efforts aim to provide food assistance through donated groceries, prepared meals, food distribution events, and partnerships with local businesses, churches, and community organizations.
We seek to provide clothing, shoes, blankets, hygiene products, and other basic necessities to individuals and families experiencing hardship.
Our goal is to help people meet essential needs while preserving their dignity, comfort, and well-being.
For individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability, we aim to provide connections to available shelters, community resources, housing programs, and supportive services.
Our long-term Community Restoration Initiative also seeks to develop opportunities for transitional and supportive housing.
Unexpected circumstances can quickly place a family in crisis.
Whether facing job loss, medical hardship, disability-related expenses, a household emergency, or other difficult circumstances, we hope to assist individuals in identifying resources and obtaining essential supplies when available.
Sometimes the greatest challenge is simply knowing where to turn.
We aim to help individuals connect with organizations, programs, and community partners that may provide additional assistance, guidance, and opportunities for stability.
Asking for help is not a weakness. Everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to be heard.
If you or someone you know is experiencing hardship, we invite you to share your circumstances and the type of assistance needed.
Faith in Action Foundation is developing a community-based assistance network supported by donations, volunteers, and partnerships.
Although we cannot guarantee financial assistance, supplies, housing, or other services, every request submitted will help us better understand the needs within our communities and identify opportunities to connect people with available resources.
We welcome requests involving:
Food and groceries
Clothing, shoes, and hygiene essentials
Blankets, bedding, and household necessities
Homelessness and housing resource referrals
Disability-related essential needs
Family hardship and emergency circumstances
Veteran and senior citizen needs
Other essential needs not listed above
All requests will be considered with compassion and respect, regardless of religious belief, disability, race, background, or personal circumstances.
Please complete our confidential assistance request form with as much information as you feel comfortable sharing.
Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance. Availability depends on donations, resources, program capacity, and community partnerships.
[REQUEST ASSISTANCE]
The needs within our communities are greater than any one person or organization can address alone.
But when neighbors, businesses, churches, volunteers, and community organizations work together, meaningful change becomes possible.
We welcome inquiries about donations of:
Nonperishable food and bottled water
New or gently used clothing and shoes
Blankets, towels, and bedding
Unopened hygiene and personal care products
Baby and children's necessities
Household essentials
Seasonal and emergency supplies
Please contact us before delivering donations so we can confirm current needs and available arrangements.
Volunteers can make a meaningful difference by helping organize supplies, prepare outreach events, distribute donations, coordinate community partnerships, and connect individuals with available resources.
Whether you have a few hours to give or wish to become regularly involved, your willingness to serve matters.
We welcome partnerships with businesses, churches, farms, grocery stores, restaurants, civic organizations, and individuals who share our commitment to helping neighbors in need.
Through sponsorships, in-kind donations, volunteer participation, and community collaboration, we can expand our ability to serve.
We believe charitable assistance should never be used to shame, judge, or diminish another person.
Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of the circumstances that brought them to seek help.
Faith in Action Foundation is rooted in Christian principles of love and service, but assistance is not conditioned upon religious participation or belief.
Our purpose is not to decide who is worthy of compassion.
Our purpose is to put compassion into action.
A warm meal can bring comfort.
A clean set of clothes can restore confidence.
A helping hand can remind someone they are not alone.
And a community united in compassion can help transform lives.
Faith in Action Foundation — Serving People. Restoring Dignity. Building Hope.
Because faith without action is only a promise. Love puts that promise into motion.

They stood for us. Now it's our turn to stand beside them.
At Faith in Action Foundation, we believe that honoring our nation's veterans means more than expressing gratitude for their service. It means standing beside them through the challenges they may face long after their military service has ended.
For many veterans, the transition into civilian life brings challenges that are not always visible. Post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, isolation, physical disabilities, and difficulties rebuilding a sense of purpose can create barriers to emotional well-being and everyday life.
We recognize the powerful bond between humans and animals and the comfort, companionship, structure, and sense of connection that a devoted canine companion can provide.
One of our foundation's most meaningful initiatives is the donation and placement of obedience-trained Belgian Malinois puppies with veterans who may benefit from emotional support and companionship.
Through this initiative, we aim to provide veterans with more than a pet. We hope to create lasting partnerships built on trust, loyalty, responsibility, and unconditional companionship.
Each puppy will receive foundational obedience training and socialization before placement, with an emphasis on temperament, appropriate matching, and the needs of the receiving veteran.
Our program is intended to promote:
Emotional Companionship: Providing a consistent, comforting presence that may help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Routine & Purpose: Encouraging daily structure, responsibility, and meaningful engagement.
Connection & Trust: Fostering positive relationships through the human-animal bond.
Physical Activity & Engagement: Encouraging outdoor activity, exercise, and participation in daily life.
Confidence & Independence: Supporting veterans in rebuilding confidence and maintaining a sense of purpose.
Continued Support: Developing resources to help veterans establish healthy, lasting relationships with their canine companions.
Our belief is simple: Sometimes the most meaningful support comes with four paws, unwavering loyalty, and unconditional love.
Our vision extends beyond the initial placement of a puppy.
We aim to develop a responsible program that considers each veteran's individual circumstances, lifestyle, physical capabilities, and long-term ability to care for their canine companion.
Because Belgian Malinois are highly intelligent, energetic working dogs, appropriate placement, continued training, and responsible ownership are essential to successful partnerships.
We hope to collaborate with experienced trainers, veterinary professionals, and veteran support organizations to develop a program that prioritizes the welfare of both veterans and their dogs.
Our obedience-trained companion dogs are intended to provide emotional support and companionship. They are not represented as fully trained service dogs unless they have completed the individualized disability-related task training required for that designation.
Alongside our canine companionship program, Faith in Action Foundation seeks to develop partnerships and resources that address other challenges facing veterans, including:
Connections to veteran benefits and assistance programs
Employment readiness and vocational opportunities
Housing stability and community reintegration
Mental health and wellness resource referrals
Support for veterans living with disabilities
Community fellowship, mentorship, and peer connections
Our goal is to build a network of compassion and practical assistance that helps veterans regain stability, confidence, and a meaningful connection to their communities.
We understand that no single program can erase the hardships experienced by those who have served.
But we believe that genuine companionship, a renewed sense of purpose, and a supportive community can make a meaningful difference.
Through our Belgian Malinois Companion Placement Program, we hope to create partnerships that enrich the lives of both veterans and the dogs entrusted to their care.
They gave of themselves in service to others. We believe they deserve a community willing to give something back.
